Magic of Manatee Leadership

Magic of Manatee thrives because of the energy and style of the people who have stepped up to lead. Here are a few of the people who make our ensemble tick:

Lois Van Beek - Director

Lois is a Certified Director within Sweet Adelines International and has been directing Magic of Manatee for twenty years.  During her years of barbershop experience she has held numerous chapter offices.

Lois teaches sixth grade at Bradenton Christian School.  She earned her bachelor's degree from Dordt College and a master's degree from Michigan State University.  She sings in her church choir and is also part of the projection team there.  She enjoys playing the piano and reading a good book.

We appreciate Lois' leadership, patience, organizational skills and the musical knowledge which she uses while directing our chorus.

When asked to comment about her position as director of the Magic of Manatee, Lois said, "I feel blessed to be able to work with such a wonderful group of singers."

Pam has held many positions in the chorus and we are pleased to have her at the helm.
